US Telecom Company, a Midwest-based service provider with nationwide operations, needed to validate its migration from a physical network to a cloud-based vIMS while maintaining or improving customer QoE. The company was concerned about voice latency, VoLTE call quality, and the high cost of building and running a production-scale test lab, and turned to Ixia’s IxLoad solution to support the transition.
Ixia implemented IxLoad VE to extend testing from the lab into the production network and integrate virtual testing into the company’s CI/CD pipeline. The result was 3–5x cost savings on lab setup, a 20% reduction in voice latency, faster service delivery and rollout validation, and a $10 million impact from reaching revenue three months earlier.
