FreeBit Uses IxANVL to Significantly Reduce ServersMan® Development Time and Cost

FreeBit Co. Ltd., a Japanese company providing core components for Internet services, needed to perform reliable conformance testing for its new ServersMan® product. The company sought to reduce its development cycle time and control costs, having found its own internal testing tool inadequate for thoroughly validating the TCP/IP protocols of its Emotion Link technology.

Using Ixia’s IxANVL conformance test solution, FreeBit was able to validate its protocol stack against industry standards, with the tool pinpointing any issues directly to the relevant specifications. The use of Ixia's product helped FreeBit reduce the ServersMan® development cycle to under a year and cut development costs to under 10 million yen, while also significantly decreasing post-release bugs and improving overall product quality.
