Achieving Full Network Visibility Across a Complex Healthcare Delivery System

Large Healthcare Organization, a multi-site healthcare delivery system supporting dozens of hospitals and clinics, was struggling with limited visibility across a complex, heterogeneous network. Although it used CA Application Delivery Analysis and CA Application Performance Management, blind spots in physical and virtual infrastructure made it difficult to understand network changes, troubleshoot performance issues, and maintain reliable service for medical staff. Ixia helped address these monitoring gaps with its Vision ONE network packet broker.

Ixia implemented Vision ONE alongside CA APM and CA ADA to aggregate and deliver traffic from across the network to the monitoring tools, extending visibility to 48 locations and increasing monitored traffic from 10G to 480G. The result was full network visibility, faster troubleshooting, and up to a 40% reduction in mean time to resolution, improving application availability, user experience, and the delivery of critical information to clinicians.
