Inyo Pools replatforms 27,000+ parts on Adobe Commerce with IWD Agency

Inyo Pools, a seller of pool and spa replacement parts, faced a major scaling challenge. Their 15-year-old ecommerce platform could not handle the complexity of their 100% dropship operation with 27,000+ products sourced from multiple national distributors. They needed a system that could synchronize live inventory and pricing from several vendor APIs and intelligently route orders, which off-the-shelf Adobe Commerce could not do. IWD Agency was engaged for an Adobe Commerce replatform to solve this.

IWD Agency built a custom Adobe Commerce Cloud solution with Hyva frontend. They developed 13 custom API integrations to sync real-time cost and inventory from distributors like Heritage, Baystate, and PoolCorp, and automated the entire dropship fulfillment process. A key feature was a cost-based vendor routing engine that automatically sends each order to the most profitable source. The solution also included a bidirectional Sage 100 ERP integration and a visual parts finder tool, transforming the operation into a scalable, automated, and more profitable platform.
