iWave worked with Zoo, a world renowned Canadian zoo focused on endangered species protection, which needed a better fundraising strategy to improve major gift giving. The team had been researching prospects with Google and other search tools, but it was taking up to 10 hours per profile and their ask accuracy was only 4 percent.
Zoo implemented iWave’s Prospect Research Online (PRO) to quickly identify prior giving, giving to similar organizations, and donation amounts. With iWave, ask accuracy increased to 70 percent over three years, quick prospect profiles dropped from over an hour to one minute, full profiles fell from 10 hours to 4 hours, and the team built 60 times more pre-qualified prospects, leading to significantly higher fundraising results.
