The Minnesota Historical Society, a large historical organization in St. Paul, Minnesota, needed to raise private funds for its Historic Fort Snelling project while relying on a very small development team with only one prospect researcher. To help identify the right prospects and gift amounts, the Society turned to iWave and its Prospect Research Online (PRO) tool, along with the PROscreen feature.
Using iWave’s PRO as its primary research tool, Susan Gahan and her team were able to verify records, assess donor affinity, and uncover new major gift prospects more quickly and confidently. The result was stronger donor relationships and more major gift support: the Minnesota Historical Society exceeded its fiscal fundraising goal and made excellent progress toward its long-term capital campaign, including the Historic Fort Snelling project.
