GENCO Warehouse Experiment Delivers Peak Performance

GENCO, a Global Top 25 3PL managing 38 million square feet across 130 locations, needed better visibility into lift-truck operator labor and warehouse processes at a 410,000‑sq‑ft test facility. The site suffered from unclear labor spending, weak productivity accountability, and untracked equipment usage (impacts, travel, utilization). To address this, GENCO partnered with Easy Metrics and implemented iWAREHOUSE (Raymond’s fleet and warehouse optimization system) to combine labor management and equipment analytics.

By integrating iWAREHOUSE with the Easy Metrics LMS, GENCO implemented job coding, tracked 15–20 process metrics, and merged equipment and labor data for automated reporting. iWAREHOUSE delivered measurable gains: nearly $0.10 reduction in labor cost per unit, a 12% decrease in pick labor, fewer equipment impacts (reducing repair/time costs), and clear visibility into travel distances and operator authorization—improvements GENCO intends to roll out to other facilities.
