Vorarlberg Transport Association standardises operations across 351 vehicles with IVU Traffic Technologies

The Vorarlberg Transport Association (VVV) faced a challenge standardizing processes across its network of 26 bus and train operators, who each used different software. This made uniform fleet management and network-wide passenger information difficult. To achieve a standardized system with real-time data, VVV selected IVU Traffic Technologies and its IVU.suite of products.

IVU implemented a multi-tenant system with IVU.fleet at its core, allowing each operator access to necessary data while providing VVV with a centralized view. The solution included IVU.cockpit, IVU.ticket.box, and IVU.fare to manage operations, provide real-time passenger information, and simplify ticketing across all 351 vehicles. As a result, VVV now benefits from efficient, standardized processes and consistent real-time data, significantly increasing the overall attractiveness of public transport in Vorarlberg.
