TIC Federal Credit Union - Customer Case Study

TIC Federal Credit Union, a 50-year-old federal credit union serving 40,000 members and managing more than $230 million in assets, wanted to streamline data center operations, reduce its footprint, and modernize its infrastructure. iVision was engaged to help update the environment with current technologies, including Cisco UCS C-Series servers, NetApp FAS2040 disk arrays, VMware vSphere 4.1, and NetApp software tools.

iVision designed and installed the new server and storage infrastructure, migrated file servers and Windows shares, and created backup/recovery and disaster recovery plans and documentation. The project gave TIC a more robust, stable, and flexible data storage environment, improved disaster recovery readiness, and enabled the credit union to manage data more effectively today while scaling for future growth.
