A iVision Case Study

Preview of the King & Spalding Case Study

King & Spalding - Customer Case Study

King & Spalding, a 125-year-old international law firm serving half of the Fortune 100, needed to upgrade from Windows XP and Office 2003 without disrupting client communications or attorney productivity. With more than 2,400 desktops and laptops, 500+ applications and add-ins, and 17 offices worldwide, the firm turned to iVision for help with the Windows 7 and Office 2010 migration, application compatibility, and user migration planning.

iVision designed and implemented a single, centrally managed Windows 7 workstation image, tested and remediated applications, extended the firm’s iMX secure desktop tool, and developed a User State Migration process to preserve settings and data. The solution reduced migration risk and helped King & Spalding move toward a stable, secure, globally deployable desktop platform while protecting service continuity for more than 880 attorneys.
