Global Online Educator, a worldwide leader in accredited online college degrees with more than 125 self-paced programs, was struggling to manage growth across 100+ custom applications built on seven frameworks and four technologies. With about 65,000 enrollments and 35,000 active students, the organization needed to reduce system risk, lower maintenance costs, and realign its application strategy for future growth. iVision was brought in to develop a Strategic Application Roadmap.

iVision analyzed the client’s business processes, application stack, and infrastructure, then performed a capabilities gap analysis to identify priorities such as CRM, Predictive Dialer, and General Ledger. The result was a phased roadmap with recommendations to retire, maintain, or enhance applications, along with software, implementation, modernization, and integration cost estimates. This gave Global Online Educator a long-term technology strategy to support service levels, agility, and growth, and helped validate the approach at the executive level.
