AJC International - Customer Case Study
AJC International, a global leader in marketing frozen and refrigerated products with 14 offices across four continents, needed a secure, centrally managed way to virtualize desktops and applications for its Asia Pacific locations while reducing complexity and cost. To address this challenge, AJC turned to iVision for a desktop and application virtualization pilot using Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix XenApp, supported by VMware vSphere, NetApp storage, Microsoft Active Directory, and SQL Server.
iVision designed and implemented the pilot in AJC’s Alpharetta datacenter, delivering virtual desktops and applications to offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Shenzhen through Citrix web access and Wyse Thin Clients. The pilot validated the solution and led to recommendations for production scaling, helping AJC improve performance and end-user productivity, strengthen data security through centralized management, and reduce desktop deployment, operations, and support costs.
