Hydro Ottawa, a local energy provider, sought to create an immersive augmented reality experience to educate visitors about the historic Chaudiere Falls, Canada's oldest hydroelectric station. Without in-house software expertise, they partnered with vendor Iversoft to develop a mobile AR application for public self-guided tours.

Iversoft delivered the "Visit Chaudiere Falls" app for iOS and Android, featuring engaging AR animations, a location map, and WCAG-compliant accessibility. The solution made over 100 years of history accessible and included awareness features that contributed to a 99.3% increase in eel survival rates. Iversoft's application successfully provided a new, fully accessible way for the public to engage with the historic site.
