Greenlight Planet is a for‑profit social business that designs, distributes and finances solar home energy products to over 27 million rural consumers across more than 60 countries. As it expanded its retail footprint to 150 stores across Africa, the company relied on spreadsheets and had no integrated POS or ERP links, resulting in poor inventory controls, no real‑time sales visibility, slow checkouts, no printable receipts and limited customer purchase history.

Working with Total Solutions Limited, Greenlight Planet implemented iVend POS integrated with SAP ByDesign and rolled out 150 sites in under a year.
