Case Study: Fountain House expands global clubhouse training with IVCi collaboration solutions

A IVCi Case Study

Preview of the Fountain House Case Study

Fountain House Uses Collaboration Technology to Strengthen Growth of New Clubhouses

Fountain House, a community-based mental health organization that supports adults with serious mental illness, needed a cost-effective way to train, support, and connect clubhouse affiliates around the world. As the movement expanded across 326 clubhouses globally, language barriers, travel costs, and limited IT expertise made it difficult to deliver consistent on-site education and ongoing assistance. IVCi helped address these challenges with collaboration technology, including Cisco video conferencing and WebEx.

IVCi built the Learning Exchange using Cisco SX10 codecs, Cisco DX80 and MX700 units at Fountain House in New York, Cloud Video Experience, and Cisco WebEx, along with training materials and Live Video Assist support. The solution enabled virtual training, remote activation, and ongoing support across locations, helping more clubhouses succeed and expand. As a result, the number of successful clubhouses has continued to grow, giving more adults living with mental illness access to quality clubhouse programs worldwide.
