UVA Health uses Ivanti to help providers, patients, and families stay connected

The University of Virginia Health System (UVA Health) needed a secure way to keep providers, patients, and families connected while expanding mobile access to healthcare apps across Macs, iPads, and other devices. Working with Ivanti, UVA Health addressed challenges around secure patient communication on macOS and iPads, rolling out Epic on mobile devices, and supporting growing demand for mobile productivity and care.

Ivanti implemented Ivanti Neurons for UEM, Ivanti Tunnel, and AppConnect/AppTunnel to unify device management and secure app access across nearly 10,000 iOS, macOS, and Android devices. The result was seamless collaboration and improved patient care, including instant access to healthcare apps on Macs without a VPN, secure tablet-based family communication during COVID-19, and faster translation and interpreter services in clinics with measurable operational scale supported by a single IT administrator for much of the rollout.
