Nationstar Mortgage realizes accelerated time-to-value with Ivanti

Nationstar Mortgage, a large mortgage servicer based in Lewisville, Texas, faced severe Citrix XenApp performance issues as its workforce tripled: desktop logons stretched to three minutes, sessions froze (one heavy Excel query could lock a server), and trouble tickets spiked to about 300 per day. To address this, Nationstar engaged Ivanti and selected Ivanti DesktopNow—specifically Ivanti Performance Manager and Ivanti Environment Manager—to stabilize and optimize its virtual desktop environment.

Ivanti deployed a 500-seat POC and full rollout in about two months, enabling resource allocation controls, eliminating Terminal Services roaming profiles and custom logon scripts, and moving ~90% of GPO settings into Ivanti. The results: logon times fell to 14–20 seconds (from three minutes), daily trouble tickets dropped to under 10, server density increased roughly 10%, and Nationstar now supports 7,500 users with faster, more stable desktops thanks to Ivanti.
