Mile Hi Companies Cuts Warehouse Picking Costs and Training Time Per Selector Significantly

Mile Hi Companies, a food and beverage distributor serving 337 McDonald’s restaurants, needed to modernize its warehouse picking process because its legacy voice solution led to mispicks, order shortages, redundant steps, and high training and operating costs. Mile Hi partnered with Ivanti to replace check-digit confirmation with scan-based picking and improve accuracy and usability in a complex warehouse environment.

Ivanti implemented Ivanti Velocity and Velocity Voice, enabling a cleaner wearable-device workflow with no integration requirement, text-to-speech/speech-to-text flexibility, and fewer unnecessary screen elements. The result was a 48% reduction in credits, 43% cost avoidance equal to $4,960 per selector, and a 66% cut in training time from three days to one, while also improving order accuracy and delivering an ROI that exceeded expectations.
