Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) needed better control over IT changes and a more efficient way to serve employees, contractors, and members who depend on its retirement and health benefits services. To support its move to ITIL best practices, the agency selected Ivanti and deployed Ivanti Neurons for ITSM, replacing HEAT Classic with Ivanti Service Manager to create a more flexible, enterprise-grade service management platform.
Ivanti helped Oregon PERS roll out incident and service request management, self-service, knowledge, change, release, and asset management, while extending workflows across IT and business teams. The result was more than 50 self-service requests available to users, tighter control over changes and releases, automated approvals, and improved service quality and efficiency across the agency.
