Harmonizing the IT Environments of Three Merged Businesses

Coop Alleanza 3.0 (Coop), the largest Italian consumer cooperative formed from the merger of three businesses, needed to harmonize IT environments and standardize processes across more than 400 shops, 2.7 million members and roughly 7,000 endpoints. Ivanti deployed Ivanti Endpoint Manager and Ivanti Patch for Endpoint Manager across Coop’s ~7,000 systems, giving a single‑pane‑of‑glass for centralized device management, automated application rollouts and a self‑service app store, plus vulnerability scanning and automated patching across operating systems and third‑party apps. The Ivanti solution lets Coop initiate thousands of system actions in a single operation without saturating the network, improves user productivity, keeps software current and moves the organization toward full centralized visibility and licensing compliance.
