Globe Telecom Simplifies Endpoint Security

Globe Telecom, a leading Philippine telecommunications provider with thousands of employees and millions of subscribers, faced fragmented endpoint security—no centralized inventory, inconsistent patching, and limited control over application execution across its distributed workforce. After evaluating options, Globe selected Ivanti and deployed Ivanti Endpoint Security to provide centralized automated capabilities for patching, application control, device control, and asset management.

Ivanti (with partner Altair) rolled out Ivanti Endpoint Security to about 10,000 desktops, laptops, and servers across six corporate sites, three data centers, and hundreds of regional offices, enabling centralized patch management, application whitelisting, automated agent deployment, and device control. The deployment produced measurable results: an exponential increase in workstation patch compliance, faster remediation of critical zero-day vulnerabilities (including a tailored response during the WannaCry outbreak), automated deployment of NAC/AV/anti‑APT agents, and ransomware containment—reporting zero ransomware executions despite several hundred infections.
