Bell, one of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies with 55,000 employees across 250 locations, tasked OJC Consulting with rethinking its enterprise-wide expense management to handle massive volumes (about 10,000 expense reports and 130,000 receipts per year, plus 27,000 notifications monthly). The challenge included managing both out‑of‑pocket and P‑card expenses, supporting many concurrent users and expense types, protecting sensitive payment data, integrating with existing ERPs, and implementing configurable approval workflows for rapid user adoption.
OJC implemented the Ivalua Expense module, integrating 1,750 on‑site scanners, secure interfaces with banks and ERPs, and configurable business rules to streamline capture, validation and reimbursement. The rollout completed in three waves with zero critical issues, a short stabilization period and 100% user satisfaction; the platform now manages 100% of Bell’s expenses, requires no ongoing maintenance administration, and delivered improved tax compliance and cost savings.
