Rogers Communications, a major Canadian telecom with over 26,000 employees, faced a procurement transformation challenge: to efficiently manage CAD 6 billion in spend amid cost pressures and shrinking headcount. COVID‑19 amplified workforce strain and remote‑work challenges, while teams were bogged down in reactive, manual reporting, duplicated effort, and poor, hard‑to‑trust data.
Rogers implemented Ivalua across supplier management, sourcing, contract management, procurement, invoicing and analytics—replacing seven legacy systems and launching self‑service templates and dashboards. The single, standardized platform improved data quality and compliance, reduced administrative work, increased spend under management, and freed procurement to focus on strategic, high‑value activities like category strategy and supplier performance.
