Ivalua partnered with the State of Arizona and New York City to modernize slow, paper‑based procurement systems that hindered vendor onboarding, siloed information across agencies, and delayed RFPs and contract management. Officials needed an end‑to‑end, configurable cloud solution plus workforce and process changes to make procurement faster, more transparent and legally compliant.
The teams rolled out a phased, cloud‑based e‑procurement platform (PASSPort in NYC and an upgraded Ivalua system in Arizona) with vendor portals, online catalogs, automated sourcing and stronger reporting. Results included faster vendor registration (13,000 vendors onboarded; filings shortened from months to days), consolidated supplier data across agencies, fewer rebids, improved spend visibility for negotiations, and a measurable shift toward more efficient, transparent procurement.
