Chromalloy, a global aerospace supplier with more than 4,000 employees and operations in 11 countries, was managing IT across 30 locations with separate backup processes, outdated tools, and limited data redundancy. Several sites were experiencing regular backup failures, and the company needed a more centralized, reliable approach while it worked toward a broader infrastructure conversion. ITsavvy was brought in to help with its savvyBackup® virtual backup solution.

ITsavvy deployed savvyBackup to automate and virtualize backups to a Tier 3 data center, giving Chromalloy immediate redundancy and remote management while its new corporate infrastructure was being built. Within a week, five sites were backing up 15 TB of data to the cloud, and three additional sites were added during the eight-month transition. As a result, Chromalloy gained more reliable restores, reduced operational burden, and lower operating costs through a consolidated backup environment.
