Butler County, a regional government in southwest Ohio, faced an aging network infrastructure with legacy components that were seven to ten years old, poor site-to-site connectivity, and backup jobs that often ran into working hours. The county turned to ITsavvy, working with HPE, to help plan a cost-effective refresh of its environment with HPE and Aruba networking products and services.

ITsavvy implemented a countywide upgrade to a 10GB network backbone, replacing mismatched legacy hardware across 33 facilities and 153 switches while staying within the original budget and timeline. The project improved bandwidth, shortened backup windows, boosted user productivity, and added stronger reporting and troubleshooting capabilities, giving Butler County much better performance and visibility.
