Boardman Local School - Customer Case Study

Boardman Local School, a K-12 district in northeastern Ohio, needed to modernize classroom technology across seven buildings while transitioning to Chromebooks. The district was also preparing to launch a new Everyday Math curriculum, but its middle school classrooms lacked the interactive displays needed to support the digital lesson components. ITsavvy was brought in to help identify a solution that would be easy to use, compatible with existing devices, and cost-effective.

ITsavvy recommended InFocus JTouch interactive panels, along with Chromebooks, Chromeboxes, and antimicrobial mobile carts for flexible deployment. The district started with 137 JTouch panels and reported a high-90% teacher acceptance rate after hands-on demos. Boardman said the vendor-agnostic panels improved ROI by extending the life of existing equipment, while the short learning curve helped students and teachers adopt the new tools quickly and improved engagement in the classroom.
