Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS) is Allianz’s center of expertise for large corporate, industrial and specialty insurance, operating across more than 160 countries. AGCS faced limited visual monitoring data and lacked real-time notifications and predictive trend analysis for a complex infrastructure — some 500 servers, 20 core switches and 5 UPS units across 60 countries — running diverse technologies (Windows, RHEL, VMware ESXi, Apache) and requiring server health, service monitoring, self-heal, application availability, reporting and notifications.

AGCS deployed Opsview Enterprise and completed the rollout in three months, meeting its primary monitoring goals. The solution delivered improved server and application health checks, timely alerting and integration with ServiceNow for ticketing, plus customizable checks and web UI monitoring. The result was a flexible, scalable monitoring platform with responsive vendor support that made critical-event detection and resolution faster and easier.
