Vastra Gotalandsregionen, one of Sweden’s largest public-sector organizations, relies on ITRS Group’s ITRS OP5 Monitor to support IT services for 55,000 employees. The challenge was keeping a large and constantly changing monitoring environment up to date, as manual host and service maintenance was time-consuming and risked false alerts and reduced trust in the platform.

ITRS Group, working with Opsdis, implemented an automated integration between Cisco Prime and ITRS OP5 Monitor using the monitor’s REST API to compare data, update configurations, and maintain parent/child relationships. The result was a fully automated, real-time monitoring platform with close to zero maintenance cost, eliminating manual updates and helping Vastra Gotalandsregionen spend more time improving monitoring instead of managing it.
