Carus, a global leader in IT solutions for Ferry and Cruise operations across 18 countries and 4 continents, needed a way to handle sudden spikes in activity that could cause outages and disrupt customer service. With ITRS Group, and its OP5 Monitor platform already in place, Carus wanted deeper visibility into internal logs so it could better predict system behavior, prevent downtime, and avoid unexpected failures.

ITRS Group implemented Log Analytics, feeding log data from multiple operating systems and applications via Filebeats and Metricbeats to improve real-time monitoring and reporting. The result was greater transparency into system and user behavior, faster response times for support teams, and more efficient change control through automation. While no specific numeric metrics were provided, Carus said the solution helps them predict issues before they occur and keep clients’ systems healthy.
