Pedernales Electric Cooperative, the largest distribution electric cooperative in the USA, needed to migrate a massive ECM repository on IBM FileNet P8 after it grew beyond 1 terabyte and began causing major performance issues and downtime. The company turned to Itransition to handle the legacy data export and conversion as part of its move to a more scalable ERP system.

Itransition built a custom ETL utility to automate extraction, transformation, indexing, and migration of more than 24 million files, including images, XML load files, and over 1,024 gigabytes of documentation.
