The Medical Device Manufacturing Company needed a medical equipment software solution to help blood centers collect, process, and manage large volumes of transfusion data in real time across its devices and systems. Itransition worked with the customer to build a web-based medical equipment system that could integrate multiple transfusion devices, support remote monitoring, and ensure compliance with IEC 62304 requirements.

Itransition developed six versions of the system over seven years, including a module that combines peripheral devices into stations and automates data collection, verification, export, and device management in 18 languages. The solution is now used by around 100 blood centers worldwide, with Itransition handling the full lifecycle from business analysis and development to testing, maintenance, and support.
