Expedia Affiliate Network, part of Expedia’s global travel business, wanted to replace outdated EAN templates that delivered inconsistent user experience and lacked a strong competitive edge for affiliates and travelers. Expedia teamed up with Itransition to revamp the EAN solution and support its move to a unified SOA-based platform.
Itransition designed and launched the new high-performance “GenIII” templates, also known as Chameleon, in under a year. The new platform improved booking flows, loading times, customization options, and scalability for more than 10,000 affiliates, while boosting consumer UX and affiliate satisfaction; it also enabled easy migration of existing partners and supported localization in 33+ languages.
