Bundle Tech wanted to make import duties and VAT transparent for online shoppers, but there was no easy global way to calculate landed costs across different products, countries, and shipping scenarios. To solve this, Bundle Tech partnered with Itransition to build a duty-and-tax calculation platform, DutyCalculator, that could integrate directly with merchant websites and marketplaces.

Itransition implemented the solution with a scalable API engine, product mapping tools, embeddable widgets, billing automation, and documentation generation. The platform was first integrated with eBay Russia, where Itransition mapped over 100,000 product categories; within a month of launch, the portal was handling more than 300,000 calculations per day, enabling fast, on-the-fly duty estimates for shoppers and a flexible billing model for merchants.
