Leonhard Weiss, a German construction company with more than 5,500 employees across 20+ locations, needed a better way to manage ideas, innovation, and knowledge sharing across departments and sites. Its existing SharePoint-based 3i idea management system lacked transparency, communication, and efficient administration, so the company turned to ITONICS and its digital innovation platform to create a more modern, company-wide innovation ecosystem.
ITONICS implemented the EINZ platform as a web-based solution for idea management, exhibition scouting, and innovation project management, allowing employees to submit, evaluate, reward, and track ideas more easily. The result was a transparent innovation community with more than 1,815 active users, over 800 submitted ideas, and 250 implemented ideas, while administrative effort dropped significantly and cross-location collaboration and employee participation improved.
