LegionLites launches IoT garland control app in 6 man-months with Itexus

The customer, LegionLites, a manufacturer of garlands, needed a technology partner to develop a white-label mobile application for remotely controlling their illumination products via Wi-Fi. They approached the vendor, Itexus, to build native iOS and Android apps and program the necessary controllers to bring their concept to a fully functional product.

Itexus developed the LegionLites app, which allows users to manage garlands individually or in groups, controlling modes, brightness, and custom animations. The most significant technical challenge was creating an exclusive calibration algorithm to ensure visual effects displayed correctly, which they successfully achieved. The vendor's solution also included programming bespoke software for the controllers. The project was completed with a team of seven over a total effort of six man-months.
