Coinstar launches digital wallet ecosystem in 4 months with Itexus

Coinstar, a $2.2 billion global fintech company, needed to expand its service offering by creating a digital wallet and app ecosystem to meet rising demand for mobile banking and cryptocurrency trading. To execute this technically complex project, which required integration with its existing kiosk infrastructure, Coinstar partnered with Itexus, selecting them for their expertise in enterprise systems and cryptocurrency solutions.

Itexus designed and built a comprehensive solution including native mobile apps, a web client, and a secure cloud-based backend API. The platform enables users to buy/sell crypto, link bank accounts, and manage balances, all integrated with Coinstar's kiosk network. The first version was launched within four months, and just two months post-launch, over 6,500 users had downloaded the app. Itexus continues to develop and expand the platform in line with Coinstar's roadmap.
