iText DITO – Revolutionizing mateco (TVH Group)’s working platform hire processes

mateco Group, a global supplier of working platform rentals and part of the TVH Group, faced a technological mismatch in its multi-cloud environment that created complexity in generating PDF documents from its Microsoft Dynamics ERP and custom apps. The Q.One IT team needed a modern, cloud-native PDF solution with an API that could be containerized to replace their legacy system. They turned to vendor iText for a solution.

iText implemented its iText DITO product, a low-code, template-based PDF generator with a browser-based editor and a powerful API. This solution seamlessly integrated into mateco's new streaming architecture, allowing business users to design and maintain their own templates. The system is being rolled out across 15 countries and is projected to generate 1.2 million documents in 2021, scaling to a goal of 6 million. iText's solution was so successful that it became a core part of a new platform, Cymo, which was created to commercialize this streaming architecture technology for other companies.
