PayNearby, a major Indian fintech company operating the largest branchless banking and digital network, needed a robust solution to generate customized PDF documents. These documents, including invoices and receipts for a wide array of financial transactions, required the ability to include specific elements like merchant logos, addresses, and barcodes. To solve this challenge, they turned to the vendor iText and its product, iText 7 Core.

By integrating the iText 7 Core PDF library into their server infrastructure, PayNearby created a centralized service for on-demand PDF generation. This solution reliably supports the creation of millions of documents annually for both customer onboarding and transaction processes. The implementation has been highly scalable, supporting PayNearby's massive network of over 4 million retailers and facilitating more than 2 million daily transactions, solidifying iText's role in their operations.
