Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS), Singapore's public healthcare IT provider, needed to quickly integrate a PDF generation library into its custom Health Discovery platform. The challenge was to rapidly develop a feature that would allow healthcare professionals in Community Care Facilities to print on-demand reports from patient vital signs data to ease the operational burden during the COVID-19 pandemic.

iText provided its iText 7 Core library for .NET, which was easily integrated into the existing architecture to dynamically populate and generate well-formatted PDF reports. The solution was implemented rapidly, with IHiS requiring little support from iText. The result was a reliable PDF generation API that went live within the same quarter of development, successfully meeting all requirements for printing formatted reports from the Health Discovery solution.
