Dedoco, a Singapore-based provider of a decentralized document signing platform, faced the challenge of integrating support for the Singapore government's new Sign with SingPass service. They needed to generate PAdES-compliant PDFs and interact with the National Digital Identity (NDI) platform's endpoints to enable secure digital signatures for their users. To achieve this, they turned to the vendor, iText, and utilized its PDF library capabilities.

iText provided the core technology and valuable support to help Dedoco successfully integrate the Sign with SingPass feature into their platform. Using the iText PDF library, Dedoco was able to generate the necessary documents and insert the authorized, timestamped digital signatures. As a result, Dedoco became one of the first providers, and the first blockchain-based solution, to support the service, leading to significant industry interest. This was demonstrated by a successful pilot with global real estate firm ERA Realty Network, which saved time for agents and minimized physical contact.
