CSC, a leading global consulting company, was tasked by the Belgian government's e-Justice Belgium program to create a new national central database for its JustX initiative. The challenge was to bridge gaps between citizens and services by preventing human errors and reducing time spent on routine tasks, particularly in processing documents for the e-registry of Belgian business start-ups.

Using the iText PDF library, CSC implemented a solution to transform scanned physical documents into structured PDFs and to flatten complex dynamic forms based on XML data into reliable PDF/A documents at high speed. The results included a more accessible criminal record database, faster enterprise creation, fewer human-induced errors, and more time for productive tasks. iText provided the crucial technology that enabled easy integration and high-fidelity PDF processing for this large-scale government project.
