The rail company was struggling with a slow, manual process that involved 30 staff, took around seven days to clear an invoice, and needed a more integrated solution after its existing system became unsupported.

ITESOFT implemented its scanning, workflow and invoice management solution to capture invoices from paper and email, extract data, support rejection handling, and automate matching at line level. The result was a major improvement in efficiency, with invoice processing times cut by 90% to about 1.2 days, processing costs reduced by 60%, AP staff reduced from 20 to 14 and procurement staff from 10 to 4, support calls falling from over 6,000 to below 4,000, and 82% of invoices matched automatically.
