A leading health insurance provider turned to Itential to modernize its network configuration management after a merger left it with a fragmented toolset. The team needed to retire legacy HP Network Automation (HPNA), reduce compliance risk, and support backups and changes across more than 2,500 devices spanning multiple device types, all without disrupting a mission-critical global network.

With the Itential Automation Platform, the customer centralized configuration management across CLI and API-based devices, migrated backup and storage functions from HPNA, and added orchestration for change management. Itential helped cut device backups from hours to minutes, reduced BGP reroutes from 15 minutes to 53 seconds, and shortened Infoblox DHCP printer reservations from 10 minutes to under 10 seconds, while improving compliance, reliability, and automation across the hybrid cloud environment.
