RealCarBrand processes 150 cars per minute with IT Svit

The automotive company RealCarBrand faced the challenge of creating a system to collect and analyze real-time data on car brands and models in circulation globally. They partnered with IT Svit to develop a custom IoT and Big Data solution that required capturing images, identifying vehicles, and processing the data while complying with GDPR regulations.

IT Svit implemented a solution using CCTV cameras paired with Raspberry Pi devices and modems. An OCR algorithm identified car brands and models from photos, which were then immediately deleted. The data was sent to a cloud server, aggregated, and stored in a Cassandra database. The resulting system successfully processed data from approximately 150 cars per minute per node during testing, enabling RealCarBrand to perform predictive market analysis and provide data to customers via a web portal and API.
