The customer, a UK-based cryptocurrency exchange, faced challenges with its Kubernetes cluster running MongoDB, including inefficient resource usage, slow queries, and a lack of automated backups and proper monitoring. IT Svit was engaged to provide DevOps services to optimize the cluster's performance and implement these critical automations.

IT Svit implemented automated MongoDB backup and restoration in AWS, optimized performance through database sharding and resource configuration, and upgraded the monitoring stack with Prometheus and Grafana. As a result, the customer achieved significantly lower resource consumption and operating costs while gaining reliable automated backups and in-depth system awareness.
