Case Study: eBillity achieves seamless cross-device time tracking and billing sync with IT Craft

A IT Craft Case Study

Preview of the eBillity Case Study

This SaaS app allows remotely tracking work time anywhere from any place in the world then using it in billing/accounting systems

eBillity, a SaaS provider of time‑tracking and billing (Timesheets/Time Tracker), needed an easy, cross‑device way to capture what employees were working on and when, and to synchronize that data with accounting and payroll systems. IT Craft was engaged to extend eBillity’s existing web and Android offerings by building a native iOS app (Objective‑C, Core Data, Cocoa Touch) and solving the challenge of quick, accurate remote time capture.

IT Craft delivered a native iOS Time Tracker app, addressed legacy bugs and architectural flaws, improved cross‑platform data synchronization while keeping the existing API, and partially redeveloped the Android source; the engagement included ~1,000 hours of iOS development, 200 hours of QA, and 250 hours of project management. The IT Craft work added new features embraced by users and drove measurable results: over 620 million user hours logged since 2016, usage across 16 states, and roughly 12k downloads, with the app available as a free trial on Google Play and the App Store.
