Duelo.futbol is a Daily Fantasy Sports game built for South American football fans and launched around Copa América 2015. Facing the challenge of delivering a responsive, real‑money fantasy platform where users can pick dream squads and compete by real match results, Duelo.futbol engaged IT Craft to design and build the web application using a PHP/Yii2 backend with MySQL and a Bootstrap/jQuery front end.
IT Craft delivered a full-featured web platform including social and email sign‑up, contest creation and joining, player selection UIs, contest listings, and support for entry fees and prize pools. The solution went live in time for Copa América 2015 and supports real-money contests (examples in the UI show $1 entry fees with $2.70 prizes and promotional banners citing $76,500 total/10K guaranteed), enabling Duelo.futbol to offer scalable, monetized daily fantasy football gameplay.
