Trip Planning Master (TPM) is an interactive travel‑planning solution that lets users create customized itineraries and book tours, hotels, flights and cars worldwide. In 2017 TPM engaged IT Craft to accelerate development and take over an existing outsourcing effort; IT Craft supplied a dedicated team and built a web-based portal using React, NodeJS, Redux and Material UI to deliver a drag‑and‑drop UX, multilanguage support and hundreds of planning templates.
IT Craft implemented end‑to‑end delivery—development, business analysis, project management, QA, risk mitigation and post‑release support—integrating a large third‑party points‑of‑interest database, multiple service APIs and real‑time translation with caching to cut API calls. The engagement delivered on time and within budget, with IT Craft contributing 3,020 development hours, 450 BA/PM hours and 500 QA hours, resulting in a production‑ready, scalable trip‑planning portal and faster time‑to‑market for TPM.
