University of Hertfordshire - Customer Case Study

The University of Hertfordshire, a large UK university serving 36,000+ students, needed a better way to deliver student induction and assessment support. Text-heavy PDFs, PowerPoints, and paper handouts were difficult for students to navigate and time-consuming for staff to distribute, especially during ICT induction and assessment periods. The university used iSpring Suite to address these challenges.

Using iSpring Suite, Richard Matovu and the University of Hertfordshire created interactive, mobile-friendly induction and assessment guides with embedded videos, links, voice-over, and clear navigation. iSpring made it faster to share updates through links and QR codes, reduced workload during induction, and helped around 40+ academic staff build better learning resources. The results included stronger student engagement, positive feedback, and improved understanding of assessment requirements, with students reporting they felt better supported and more confident.
